The island-country of Australia might just be one of the most beautiful and interesting countries on this planet to visit.
It's geographical position on the middle of the Indian and Pacific oceans gives it one of the most dynamic and harsh climates any continent can give to its inhabitants and tourists. Close to its north-east coast, Australia features the world's largest coral reef, the Great Barrier Reef, which extends for over 2,000 kilometers and has been one of the most highly rated diving spots in the world.
To contrast its beautiful oceans, extraordinary Australia has one of the oldest and least fertile soils. It's desert covers up the largest part of the continent and has caused many problems, like sandstorms, over the years for the country's cities and populations.
Even so, it still is one of the most tropical places to visit. It has a rich ecosystem filled with habitats ranging from alpine heaths and tropical rainforests, it's home to two of the most iconic animals in the world, the koala and the kangaroo. Don't be fooled though, the koala and the kangaroo might be adorable but Australia is home to some of the most venomous snakes, so be wary when travelling through it's land.
There is still a lot to visit in Australia if you're not into wildlife exploring though. Sydney, is home to the infamous Sydney Opera House which is visited by thousands and thousands of tourists from every point of the globe. It has been said that there is no angle from which the Sydney Opera House hasn't been photographed, and it's considered an iconic masterpiece of architectural prowess.
If you don't mind the crowds and traffic, which is largely due to the monstrous amount of tourists, then Sydney might just be the best Australian city for you to visit. You should also visit Melbourne which is at a different pace to Sydney.
All in all, Australia is a wonderful magical place that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetimes. You might just get to do some boxing against a kangaroo.
